man, so as many of you know Flatworms are bad, in my case i did not get AEFW, but i got RED PLANARIA Flatworms, i found 1 of this in my tank, took it out and inspected and rechecked, it came out to me a Red Planaria, what do i do from here? should i treat my tank with Flatworm Exit or wait till i see more? like i said i only found 1 but they can be more...

My tank is SPS dominate and i do have a QT tank set up, idk how this got passed my dips. I do use the Bayer Method for my dips.
i dont however have any fishes in my tank, because if my Ich cycle, i maybe putting this to a stop and adding some wrasse's.

so what should i do?
1. Use Salifert Exit
2. Wait till i see 5+ more?
3. Get some Wrasse's

Lol, nuke your tank now with a triple dose of flatworm exit and dose again in a few days. Get em while its easy. After 8 months or so they finally slipped past my dips as well. I haven't done anything about it though. They really do not bother me yet but they are preventing me from moving corals into other tanks like I've been wanting. Just because they are in one tank doesn't mean I want to pervade the pests.

take care of them soon. those sob are hard as hell to get rid of and when u think u took care of them bam they come right back. I never got rid of them in my setup and gave up and tore down the whole system and started over I will watch from who i buy from for now on very closely! and qt every thing i get

Hit'em now if you see one chances are there's a lot more your not seeing. It's best to get them now as when they die they release toxin so less the better. Also make sure you get them all, as from my understanding they the second generation can become immune to treatment. Like in my situation FE didn't work on them as well anymore and I also had ich issue so I ended up nuking my DT with hypo for ich and that also took care of them; keep in mind my tank is FOWLR. I don't recommending doing that as you have to be prepare for high ammonia spikes.

That is a good idea about getting rid of them now, should i dose FWE then in 2 weeks dose again? or will they become immune to it? i dont think FWE kills the eggs but im not sure when the cycle for them to hatch is.
