Lost firefish, psuedo, and starki damsel yesterday, Tank was at 90 degrees.....have no idea why, but heaters are now unplugged, and it is still 82, blinds stay shut to keep out of direct sunlight and place is kept at like 64 degrees -(greg and I like it cold)....any other ideas why the temp is high????? Never had this problem - i will say that all mushrooms, and inverts and other corals are doing fine.

P.S. This hobby is amazing, and I plan money wise on things going wrong, but once you think you have dealt with a certain scenario....life fins a way to create another one.....haha

Any submersible pumps? Are you on a GFCI? Lighting intensity too high for the amount of ventilation?

Geoff~ Did you change your lighting system??? I can't imagine your tank staying so hot, especially when the system next to it, was at 68 for the meeting... Keep us posted... Sorry for your losses... We all have our share... :(

I had both my heaters take my tank up to over 86F (off-scale) and stay on. And these were Ebo-Jager, which are not the cheapest you can get. It killed off my Xenia, which I did not think was possible.
