Damsel carrying rocks?

I am only in the early stages of saltwater wonder but I have a Talbot Damsel that has dug a deep hole with his tale in the front corner of the tank, he is now down to the bottom of the tank and his tale will not make the hole deeper so he picks up the small pieces of cc and carries them out of the hole. At first he wasn't getting them out of the hole far enough and they would just fall back in , now he carries them right up and over the ridge at the top of the hole and drops them on the other side. Maybe this is normal but it is pretty funny to watch.

Damsels are great fish. It's making a nice home for itself. Getting ready to terrorize any other fish that even thinks about getting close
