Dark spot on my yellow fiji leather

I added this yellow fiji to my tank about a week ago. It has been doing great until today. It seemed normal at first, when I turned the lights on this morning it seemed fine, polyps came out like normal, but now there is a dark spot on the right hand side of the coral, and it seems bunched up around the dark spot. What is wrong here? :(

Im testing the water right now, I will give parameters as soon as I have them up to date.

Am - 0
Ites - 0
Ates - 5
Temp - 79.5

Other info - I have a koralia 1 aimed in the direction of the leather, as well as a loc line from my return blowing over the top of it, its in a BC29. Only other inhabitants are a few mushrooms and a zoa colony, leather is well above them all. Lighting is 144w PC.

Needs more direct flow, they love it. First, get some Kent Lugols Solution. Next, dilute 10 drops in a cup of tank water. And finally, use the cup of diluted Lugols to spray it with a turkey baster.

Mods need to make this topic a sticky since it is very common.

every figi i ever saw in a store had a spot on it like that, including the one i bought.it slowly got bigger until the whole toadstool floated away dead.i know people successfully keep them but i figure their more difficult.
