DC8 won't control devices

I have taken my brand new DC8 apart to check the fuse, and I am having a heck of a time gettting hte fuse to come out.

I unscrewed every screw in the shell but hte fuse is in a tight spot between the outlets and the circuit board.

Am I doing something wrong?

I have two new DC8's, one works perfectly and the other only lights the green light.

Any help getting the fuse out would be appreciated.

Thanks

OK,got the fuse out. Could that be any tougher?

I have done the following:

* Checked the fuse, it isn't blown
* The gren light works when power is added to the unit
* The green light doesn't blink when a command is sent to it
* I have confirmed that the phone cord is not bad, I checked it on my other DC8.

The DC8 has to be bad, I don't know what else to do.

Curt, please help me out.

The green light not blinking indicates that it is not receiving commands. If you haven't tried plugging this DC8 directly into the AquaController (first in daisy chain), please try that. If it still doesn't work give us a call 408-578-3022, and we'll swap it out.

Curt,

Got home tonight, hooked it back up and it is working now.

I am a little worried that it could go on the fritz again, but I am going to give it a try. I run two with pumps, etc running on each on its own circuit for redundancy.

I will keep the RMA# for a week or so, until I can confirm that it is working.

Thanks
