i had a alk drop when i tried to switch to np pellets and had some good bleaching on my green birdsnest and when i removed the pellets it has regrown over the dead skeleton

algae will grow on dead sps tips. if you have nitrate and phosphate problems, then the algae may eventually smother your whole sps to death, otherwise, it will just stay at the tip and may eventually go away.

just clip the dead portions off. This will make it look better in the end. The dead area doesnt regrow tissue, tissue grows over it. Big difference. Its just so simple to clip them and let the coral grow two or more new branches from the healing area.

Yes I agree. I Did that to my birdnest and the little tips I cut grew very fast and they spread out 3 branches from where I cut.
