Dead zoa heads

Noticed I have a few dead heads on one of my zoas. Is there something I should do to remove them or just let them be and they fall off themselves?

Nope, all the other heads look fine. It's actually on two of them. I'm not sure if you would call it "jelly" but the centers are brown on the ones that look dead and do not close completely at night.

Really could use a picture. If they're opening and not closing then I'd say they're not dead. Hard to tell by your discribtion. Also would help if you could give a bit of info about your system. How long have you had this frag? It would sure go a long way in helping us help you:p

System, it's a 75 gallon. Running skimmer with two koralia powerheads. No sump or ref just yet. Have the sump, just have to either get me a drilled tank or get an overflow for it but it is in the works. Otherwise, just your basic 75 gallon. Bunch of hermits, two large snails and about 10 nerites. A foxface, kole tang, two tomato clowns and a goby. Lighting is a Odyssea 216 watt T5.

- Wow those are blurry. Wish I had a better camera!

I can't tell from the picture. Not sure what it is your talking about exactly. As far as I can tell they look okay. Just leave them.

Ok, took much better pics. The first one, you'll see a couple in the center. For the green one, they closed up when I picked it up but you can still see what I am talking about. There are several with the brown centers.

Exactly! That and the fact that you can clearly see that they are also closing up after being disturbed proves that they are still alive.

If you feel there may be an issue give them a dip in revive coral cleaner. I dip my zoas in it and it works really well. They look nice to me.
