Dead?

Ok I had a rock covered with red acanthus and I had a bad salt spike due to evap and they all closed up and are now covered with green algae, when I trio to clean them with a baster some are now falling off, should I just pull the rock and remove them or will they come back?

They look pretty bad, although they could just be very irritated and closed up. I wouldnt take em out to the back yet. Give it a few days and perhaps they will start to open up again.

For some reason I can see picture now, I say you have an algae problem, better flow on them would help them stay clean.
