Deal or no deal?

Hi guys,
I just found a 120 gal long glass tank with 2 overflow at Capitol.
It is sitting on the picnic table... only for $400, man o' man I wish they put it on something a little more sucure than that. the bad part is no warranty on the tank. Is it worh a try?

Is it worth the hassle if its a dud? Stuff like this, I always order new and pick it up the day it arrives.

Unless its a size you have been looking for months and can't find it, or is back ordered.........I think "deals" like these are more trouble than they are worth.

How much is it regularly?

fish planet had a 120 glass for 399. awhile back. Seems like their tank prices have been pretty good. You might want to check them out.

Try 6th ave aquarium in SF they sell new 125 glass for 300 with top and some lights, though they are just basic lights,or you can get a tru vue 125 for 450 there I just bought one about a month ago.

Reefer - I thought that the aqarium at 6th Ave were non-reef ready. I could be wrong though. They do have cheap stuff equipment there.

Used tanks are a joy to discover how hard it can be to get hard scale or previously unseen scratches out. Considering if it is worth my time/energy vs. a new one now. At least I got decent wood for a stand/canopy with mine.
