i just saw the new 3D film at IMAX (official release date 3-03-06).
OMG it was sweeeet!
super close ups of caribian and hawian reefs, as well as shots in the kelp forests off california's coast. more spectacular than i could ever explain, and did i mention it was all in 3D!
it feels like your right there in the water. there was one shot where a 100lb grouper grabs a meal right in front of you, and another where humbolt squid try to eat your face off. the textures of the corals, the expresion on the faces of seaturtles.....
it was amazing!
did i mention it was 3D!
seriously though, this is film is a must see. i think the whole club shuld go and see it together. ill probably go back at least 3 or 4 times myself.
