FInally mad it into the Large Reef Tanks, barely.

About 5 months ago we upgraded from our 125 with 45 gal sump/fuge to a 220 with 75 gal sump/fuge. The new tank is 7ft long.

Many of you have great pictures on here so you will have to forgive mine lol. Sorry for the ones that are pieced together!

Here is the 125 before we moved it over:

Thanks Mark. I wish I was better at the video. The LED are not in a hood so the glare from the light makes it look washed out sometimes which they definitely are not.

I ordered them from Hong Kong. It worried me at first, but I love them now. THey look just like the ones they had at the lfs. Just alot cheaper. They are 120 watt with 56 blue: 56 white 1 watt chips. They have two cooling fans and two cords (one for each color). 3 year warranty. It took about two weeks for the corals to get used to them (except mushrooms). At first they all paled out, then they exploded with color. Before i was running 3-250w halides and 4-65w pc. Now i run four of these fixtures over the tank.

Par at the bottom went from 80 to 180, at the top it went from mid 600s to over 800. That is with the fixtures 14" above the water. I didnt want to fry them. So far they have been on there two months and the growth is really good i think. I bought a millipora frag and in two months it has sprouted two arms and encrusted down half way around the plug. My zoas are jumping from colony to frag plugs in a week. The only thing not happy is the mushrooms lol. I ended up moving most of them to another tank with just t5 on it.
