Decent Camera

Is the Nikon D100 a decent camera? I am new to all of this and not sure which models are old, new, good or bad. I see one used I can pickup if its a decent camera. Also, what are some good and bad points about this model? I want to be able to take whole tank shots as well as macro shots of individual corals...

If you can get it for $100 or less, then it's a pretty good deal. They're old; battery life will not be great and the LCD will be small.

The lens matters a heck of a lot more than the body.
