Decided on my lighting

After many chats with many of you about which direction to take for my lighting (and of coure after one of my bulbs went out yesterday) I have chosen a path.

I am going to get lights that hang from my ceiling. I wanted to have a canopy built and retrofit some T5s, but in the long haul, I accept that on a student's budget that will not be cost effective (having the canopy built).

So I need to get some form of lighting that I can easily hang from hooks in my ceiling that is plug and play (ballasts and all included). My tank is approx 40" long, so the light would need to stretch out near that. Please post any used lights that you might have for sale and then others please help me choose the best one. I am so appreciative for all of the help you have given me.

How about a 36" Nova Extreme pro...6 t5's with individual reflectors....i have the 48" version.....i can give you the bulb recomendations if you find an older one that needs new bulbs.....or if it is new....let er rip....

It's metal halide with a couple of t5's....you want an extreme pro.....6 bulbs with indiviual reflectors...

for the price of that light I would be weary of buying ...ye old get what you paid for thing prob a korean or somthing knockoff that isnt ul approved and will most llikely give you problems down the road if It dont catch fire first .. just my 2 pennies worth
