Decided to clean the tank...pic intensive

Well, it has been a while since I have hardly touched my tanks so I got the itch and decided to do a little cleaning. I had some rock laying around so I decided to completely start fresh. With white epoxy and super glued hands, I think I'm about done with one of the tanks....one down and one to go!

I'm not sure if I'm a big fan of the new aquascaping, but at this point I'm not changing it. I tried to do an overhang look, but my wife said it just looks like the rock is falling over :P

Here a shot of the urchin I've had for several months now. I really like him!

Cool.

No, that overhang will look good once it fills in and has a year or so of growth. It look good with some sun polyps or other non photosynthetic coral popping out under there.

Well, I finally got my LEDs hung. There are 10-3watt cree blues and 10-3watt whites on dimmable ballasts. The disco ball that I had before only had one 150 halide so there was no adjusting the lighting. So far I am really liking the LED lighting and the corals seem to be keeping their color.

When only the blues are on, parts of the corals almost seem to glow, which is pretty cool. All in all I am enjoying them.
