Deepwater acro id

This was sold as a deepwater. Kind of small, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It looks like it was a very small A. tortuosa frag to begin with and it is growing axial corallites fast to stretch out. It is too small to say for sure. But it does not look like any of the typical deepwater species I am aware of.

Hmm, I am not so sure on the tortuosa. I have a few tortuosa in my tank, one that grew from a tiny 1/8 in. piece. This looks different. I guess I will have to wait for it to grow up to be sure. Thanks for the possible ID. I do agree, it really doesn't look like a deepwater, even though it was sold as one.

It's tough to ID when it is so small. It is growing fast so it will appear to look like a bottlebrush type but i don't think it will grow into that. Time will tell.
