I picked this up at a local lfs . I had to frag the healthy parts . It gave me two frags . Can someone help id it ? It is as neon as some trumpet corals available . It is smooth bodied but the coralites are on the sides and not just at the tips .

Thanks,

Oh the plug is from bulk reef supply . It is not the same ora plug they use . I had to clean it up when I got it . So that's why there are the two frags .
I still wish I knew what it is . I still think it's a keeper . The polyps finally came out and they are that funky neon color too .

+1 on the scripps stag,. but like you said about the plug. ora have there own plugs, but someone could of frag it and put it on a BRS plug before they took it to the LFS.

Thanks ,

I knew it wasn't a Scripps . It is neon green like some trumpet corals available . The polyps are neon green too . A buddy who the other frag is going to thinks that is a species of Anacropora . It is the closet match . It does appear to be a deepwater variety and not boring like some others out there . Like I said it's a keeper .
