dehumidifier

I am having trouble with mold growing in the house. I am 100% sure it is from my tank. Aside from putting a lid on the tank, are there any ideas as to keep this from continuing? The house temp. is 60 deg. The room where the tank is, about 65 deg. Tank temp. is 80 deg. Would a dehumidifier in the room work or should I invest in one for the entire house? I don't want to tear down the tank, but if it continues, I'll have to. Any help is greatly appreciated.

A single room dehumidifier should do the trick, but I'm no expert on the subject. Where in your house is the tank located?

Even better than a dehumidifier woulfd be a fan wired to a humidistat. That's what I'm going to have to do here soon, once the temps start rising outside.

I am running a small room dehumidifier in my family room downstairs. It does the job, as I was having humidity problems too.

Damn. I need new friends with electrical stamina so I don't wear this whiney biach out. ;-)

Hey Pat! How's life, buddy? :-)

I really don't mind, you know I get all charged up over electricity. All I need you to do is keep your hand in the water with your shoes off and all should be good, LOL. Hey, how did the dryer outlet go?

Sorry Aushepherd, I didn't mean to hi-jack your thread. I run a dehumidifier also, ours is upstairs though and the tank is downstairs.
