Dehydrating Fish Food

Fish Bowl

After hearing about this "Reef Munchies" fish food and how it's essentially a DIY fish food that's dehydrated. Would it be better to dehydrate DIY fish foods instead of freezing them?
Aside from the lack of freezer burn for foods that aren't used quickly enough, it would certainly save me a bit of money on using agar agar and make it into a fish food that soaks up vitamins, selcon, etc quite readily I would assume.
The only negative I can think of would be possible loss of nutrients or residual smell left in the dehydrator.

Any opinions on this?

Sounds like a good addition to the mix of what most of us are trying to do. I assume adding dehydrated foods might be better than most of the flakes and pellets sold in stores, but I mostly feed live and frozen.
