Dendo acting weird?

I've had my dendro for about 4 months now and about a month ago, I started worrying about the side of the dendro receding up to its head. Right now, there are 4 heads total. Three of them are new smaller heads branching off the one large head. These are all on one side. The receding part is on the oposite side and recently it has reached the very top of the head. I don't quite know how to stop the recesion. There is no algea on the exposed skeleton, I feed every other day, it is receiving low flow as of now and nothing I know is eating it.

Is this the only coral in your tank thats having problems?

If its feeding well you can definitely regrow the missing tissue. I'd also feed daily till the recession is reversed.

However, if its feeding daily and still receding then I'd look at water quality - especially phosphate and whether Ca, alk & Mg are balanced.

Agree with suta4242...

If you've been continuously feeding it and it's still receding there is something else going on. If your water parameters check out, then I would dip them in TMPCC or Revive, then keep up with feeding.

Thanks for the help! My parameters are pretty normal? Alk is around 7-9 calc is about 500 and no trite or trate and no ammonia.. PH is anbout 8.2.. I might try that dip and increased feeding. I gave the main head most of my food. The tubastreas are fine so it might be stn?
