Dendrophyllia Frags?

WOW :eek2: . I had no idea they were that expensive. Why is this, are they rare? Do they grow/spread fast to make it worthwhile to purchase a single head?

some places have it priced accordingly, while others over mark up the price. hope they tell the buyers that they have to be feed, like sun corals..

I used to have sun corals that were open quite often throuhout the day...what's the incentive to buy a Dendro over a sun poly when you can get a nice sized colony of sun polys for the price of one Dendro polyp?

mainly hardier

mainly hardier

one of my fish moved it behind the rocks didn't find it for three weeks well it's still alive and the fish was sent to his room with no lunch.. siluler but different they are Aussie hense the price but they just opened up so prices might come down..

Prices are already starting to drop I have seen them as cheap as $35 a polyp on some web sights. From what I'm hearing they are pretty fast growers and unlike sun polyps stay open and are pretty hardy.

I still havent seen them locally- just the insane online prices. Ill get one when their price falls by 75% like Duncans have.

And yeah... definitely LPS. geo might have read it as dendronephthea.

here's what my lil colony looks like
