Derasa clam unhinged

My 3 1/2" derasa has become unhinged!! I have been looking around but I dont see much on clams becomming unhinged. Does anyone know if it has a chance of suviving? Since it became unhinged it has been laying on it's side.

it can live and reattach the hinge just make sure the shell is in alignment and dont move it

Thank you so much! I have since place it on a flat rock in hopes that it will stay. When it was in the sand it would just lie on it's side with the shell open all obliqe and stuff. let's hope for the best..
