So when a Derasa is dying does it give off toxins that could potentially kill everything in your tank? Coincidentally enough this has happened to me and I am wondering if it could have been my clam.

Nope I should know I proably lost enough in my tank. No worries no toxins in them guys. good luck hope none are dieing

The clam probably just died from whatever happened in your tank. It was first because they can be extremely sensitive.

The decaying body of your derasa will make ammonia levels soar. A high ammonia level is toxic to livestocks.
