I was just able to get an deresa clam from a friend. It had been in a tank for years and is now about 8 inches long. My tank is 75 gallons and is 22 inches deep. I placed the clam in the front of the tank directly undre the lights. My lighting is 400 watts of VHO. Three of the bulbs are Aqua suns and the other is a blue actinic.Anyone have an opion whether or not this is enough light. I also have a 4 inch crocea that is about 6 inches form the surface. This one seems to love it there. The LFS guy said this would work....What do you think?

A number of folks here might say that's ok- especially for the derasa- but my vote is for halide, especially for the crocea- good luck-
