Device Addressing?

I'm sure I may be missing something very obvious here but here goes...

I recently sent out an EB8 for repair. It came back and when I re-installed it it assigned the next available address to it instead of the one it used to occupy. Is there an easy way to get to to the old address so I don't need to go back and change my programs?

Maybe I could have reset my Apex and added everything in from scratch in the order I wanted them?

As it was I just updated my programs to utilize the new address and everything works fine but it has been bugging me since for two reasons:
1) I now have unused addresses (holes) in the sequence which just bugs me
2) I feel like I should have been able to do this much easier and feeling inadequate that I did not see a way. :hmm3:

If you have a saved copy of your program then a reset and program restore should work. The issue is a result of the repair; the EB8 was likely connected to another Apex to test after it was repaired and Aquabus devices remember their connection so when it connected to your Apex it detected an Apex it wasn't connected to before and asked for a new (Open) address. If you Init the AquaBus it should get the old address but there is a command to move things around.

Contact them tomorrow and they can walk you through the operation.
