DI Resin

Color change doesn't last as long. The components that change color are not part of the matrix. Your TDS meter is your guide.

bump for wanting to learn more about changing my DI Resin. I just ordered calibration for my HM Dual TDS meter and I am almost 100% positive that I will need to change my resin soon. Thanks for starting this thread buffalo.

Lots of places sell it in bulk, I use 2 di cartridges so that I, can completely use up the first then I replace the first and switch them.

Color changing. TDS isn't an indicator of DI effectiveness, the water should have 0 TDS after passing the RO membranes.

That is not the case it should have less that 10% of what your input water is if it is 250 going in then it shoud be less than 25 coming out. That is why people use Di.
