Diagnosing a Blue Jaw Trigger

I've had this fish for about a month and a half. I treated for internal parasites for a week and observed in a QT for a couple of weeks before transferring to the DT. He eats very well but lately I've noticed that his upper half is becoming a bit concave on both sides. It's kinda like an underfed fish but it's not his belly that's sunken in. Any thoughts?

I fed it food with Metroplex, Kanaplex and Focus for a week for internal parasites. Other than that it was just observational.

Whenever I see this I can't help but think of when non marine animals get a pinched nerve and they loose use of a muscle. Over time that muscle shrinks. Just my 2 cents.

Metroplex treats protozoan infection well but not so much tapeworm or roundworm intestinal infections. There are reports of it being used but I don't know the success rate. you would have to research mebendazole or fenbendazole as medication . How safe are they? I cannot tell you , I have no experience. I was about to try panacur ( fenbendazole for dogs ) to try and turn around a rabbitfish that never put on weight . But he turned around on his own after I kept gobs of seaweed in the algae clip . Could your trigger not be getting enough food? Or is there another trigger or fish dominating him ? You can always try foods high in garlic . There seems to be more products on the market for garlic . That may be a herbal remedy to expel the intestinal parasites .
