Diatom provlem

Hey there, I was wondering if someone had any ideas for my 55gl. Salt water tank diatom problem. My tank has been setup for 4 months. All peramitures are good. But all my rock has brown diatom algie covering it

. Please help,

Your tank is still young. Aquariums will usually go thru a diatom stage early on and usually clears up on its own (as long as proper house keeping is maintained). I don’t see a lot of coralline algae growing on your rocks yet. I would guess with time your tank will mature and the coralline algae will take over and the diatoms will disappear. Just go slow with stocking your tank. Too much too fast spells disaster!

What does your flow look like? Are you using rodi water?

Some of that looks like cyano, can't tell for sure though.
