difference in Acro species difficulty level??

Hi everyone...

Just starting to keep acros...got my first one almost 2 weeks ago, and seems great, so naturally I want more! Is there a good page to go for species ID's? Which species tend to be easier, and which tend to be harder?

Do realize, that for definitive Acropora ID [and other SPS] - many feel that such ID can only be done on skeleton, not living polyps ... so IMO take ID as a grain of salt.
I'd look for form differences - with tabling Acropora often being among the more difficult [getting sufficient flow through inside of colony while not blasting outside isn't simple] - and different forms suited to more/less light/flow depending.

In my experience, captive frags do far better, whatever type. Having the chance to grow to aquarium conditions IME gives them an advantage vs. ocean-grown.
