Differing nitrite numbers

I have a 120 gallon tank that's been up and running for 2 months. Specs are: 120lbs of live sand, 240 live rock, CUC, 2 aquatop cannister filters, hob reef octopus 2000 protein skimmer. We have 2 small clowns and a yellow tang currently.

I have been down to 0 for ammonia on both API test kit and Red Sea test kit.

I have a reading of 0 for nitrite with API but a reading of .1-.2 with the Red Sea.

What kit should I trust? If it's the Red Sea what can I do to help reduce the nitrite?

Nitrite is not a major problem and is always at some point measurable.Nitrate is th one to watch

It's been so long since I tested nitrite when a new aquarist I know recently pulled out a nitrite test kit I didn't recognize it.

At levels that low I wouldn't be concerned. You could just be reading noise in the test result.

Tanks been running for 2 months.. Its cycled already for sure..
You don't need to test for nitrites ever again..

do you mean nitrites or nitrates. nitrates are harmless at low levels and even beneficial.

I wouldn't worry about nitrite, unless there's a die off or something looks seriously out of wack with the tank.
