Dig camera opinion

First thing I notice in the specs:
Rapid start-up time of 2 seconds and shutter lag time of just 1.3 seconds
That sounds on the slow side to me- not 'rapid'.
It's also slow to record shots at .5 shots per second. No manual white balance either- but some cameras do ok with aquarium lighting on the auto settings.
I has a 2" macro range which is not bad, and it has a good sized lcd. Plus it's nice and small.

Yea, that 1.3 second shutter lag would hurt, would mean you would have to anticipate your shot by 1.3 seconds, not a problem for slow moving corals, however other tank critters will be next to impossible. Also, watch the zoom factor, the higher the optical component the better, digital zoom you can do yourself in photoshop or someother image editing software.
