Dilemma: Change out new Sump or not?

I just got a new sump and I am debating whether or not to put it on my main tank or put it on my new tank that I set up a couple weeks ago...

the dilemma is do I change out the new sump is the established system and hope it doesn't affect it ... New sump would look nicer and on be better for it ...

or

do I put it on the new system?

do you see any downsides of switching out the sumps?

I really dont see anything wrong with changing out the sump. I actually clean and wash my sump every 3 months. I haven't had any adverse affects from this.JME

I don't see any downside to switching out the sump unless you have something crazy like a deep sand bed in it.
