Dimming Moon Light

I am running a Current USA lighting system (http://www.current-usa.com/outerorbithqit5ho.html #1079) and I want to make the LED moonlighting dim able. I know the power supply is 6v DC so would this be possible with the apex?
I would like the white LEDs to come on at 10pm and shut off at midnight and the blue to come on at 100% at 10pm and dim to 0% by 8am, how would I program this? FYI the white and blue leds are on different PS's.

Re: Dimming Moon Light

It's not possible using the dc8 or eb8. I wonder though if you could use the powerhead outlet to do this.

That's what I'm thinking of using. The dimming pors are 0 to 10v output so I would just let the powerhead port run my LED lights.

The varspeed ports cannot directly drive an LED; it would burn them out. Don't quote me but I think I remember Curt mention they can drve about 25ma; just enough to drive control circuits.

Figured as much on the varspeed.

You would have to DIY a control circuit for the LED, just light the lunar simulator. I think your best bet would to be pick up a lunar sim and arr them to your exising light fixture.
