I think I am going to turn off the lights for a couple of days and then limit the light after I also plan on taking the rock out and dipping the rock for a couple of days... its going to suck.. i know... does anybody have any pointers on how to fight this? it literally blew up over my 2 day vacation.

i have fought and won multiple times.
i have done everything in the book, raising nitrates, maintaining high ph, no water changes, lots of water changes, removing sand, lights out, blah blah.

the only thing that ever works for me is 5 days lights out, netting out all of the debris before the lights out, garbage bag wrap the tank, and dose fauna marin ultra algae x

I do not have a phosphate reactor or test as of yet and plan on getting them on Thursday .

im willing to bet po4>trates

it is a difficult battle but hard to fight without a phosphate test

Hopefully it will go over... I am doing my research. and as of right now i'm setting up my 10 gallon tank to hold my coral... of course after a fresh water dip ...
