I've got a small outcropping of what I've seen listed as "snot algae"...it's a slimy, smooth brown, transluscent goo that has some minor bubbles in it. It appeared quickly, but is just as quickly dissappearing.

Is this normal for this stuff? About an area of 2"x2" disappeared overnight- do snails (in particular paper shell snails) eat this stuff? I've still got a small area of it and I woudn't mind dropping some herbivore on it if that would helpt get rid of it.

Thanks!

Crank up the Skimmer and possibly add on Ozone for a few days... Also killing the lights for a few days helps as well...

Me I cranked up the ozone and well ended up killing a coral but the Dinos went bye bye

300mg/hr for a week straight... that killed it in my 300g system
