dinos...how long can I safely go lights out?

My tank (8 months old) is full of sps (frags) at the moment. Dinoflagellates have started to rear their ugly heads, so want to nip this in the bud asap, or before they get out of control. How long can I safely go with lights out on the system that is housing sps corals?

Any experience from those that have dealt with this or have gone lights out for a while is appreciated. I will be sure to cut back my 2-part dosing when going lights out as I know consumption may decrease and cause a spike...

thanks.

I went three days no issue. Not only did I do lights out. I put a sheet over the tank to block normal day lights and house lights

I did 5 days no issue! I also ran sub 5 micron filtration to capture the suspended Dino's...worked GREAT.
