I have been struggling with this tan slime for a little while now. I usually blast some off of the rocks everyday, and only realized the scale of the problem when I could not do so for three days. I took a few photos and picked the ones that best displayed the issue. (link to photos below) My friend that gave me the tank is convinced that it is still cycling, and that it will go away in time, however it has been 3 months since the 12 year old tank was moved from her house to mine. The tank is under stocked at the moment, with a clean up crew, and 1 melanurus wrasse. The issue really took off after I lost most of my fish to ich after the move. The pH is currently 7.5, dkH 8, and the volume of the tank with displacement is about 200 gallons. No nitrates, nitrites, or ammonia found upon testing. Feeding is controlled in order to limit nutrients, and a skimmer is being used.

Phosphates, 0. Light schedule is a little long, 10am-10pm, but the Intensity changes, with a few hours of very low light on either end. I have a radion x30 system set up, but my friend moved off with the usb cord. I purchased a new one and it should be here in a few days. Other than shortening the lighting schedule, is there something I should do with the spectrum?
