Dip all corals?

I just got two new corals, a Fiji leather and a Favia.
I have never dipped corals but I was planning on starting, I have some lugols, would this be ok to use on these two corals?

start off by dipping them in 1 gal salt water you can add both of the corals in it. then by dipping them with logul solution do 40 drops in a 1 gallon for about 20 minutes make sure you move the water in the container. then slowly get a 5 gallon Reverse osmosis freshwater and dip it in their for 2- 3 minutes just to rinse out the iodine.
