Dipped new coral, and found this

Hello all,

I just got a new SPS coral and dipped it. When I looked in the water I found small whitish little starfish. They have a small disk with long thin arms. Anyone know what they are? Should I try and keep them or trash as fast as I can? Thanks all!

Most likely a brittle star, but would be good to see a pic. Brittle stars are good

after the dip they were not moving anymore, so I got ride of them. I did some looking online and they did look at brittle stars. Too bad they all looked dead after the drip.

That's what you want. Dead stiff coming off dipped coral.
