dipped zoas

I just dipped some superman zoas in some lugol's and now they are all closed up and it looks like one of the polyps looks like its spitting something neon pink out of it, can anyone tell me whats going on they are my favorite zoas and i dont want to loose them

Why did you dip them and what was the drops per gallon of water? Was it fresh water or saltwater?

it was aquarium and in a tupawear container and only 1 drop, I dipped them because i found some nudi eggs on them
