Dipping corals

What method of dipping corals have you guys tried and like the best? Do you use Lugol's, Interceptor, Melafix, Seachem coral dip, freshwater, etc.? What about maybe even a combination or sequence of dips? Interested more for sps corals but what the heck, lets see how everybody does it.

I only have 2 small monti cap frags, a few small zoa colonies, one hammer polyp, and 3 polyps of red people eater palys and all have had a revive bath prior to introduction to the tank. I'm going to order some fat worm exit and add that to the dip.

Depends on what you're trying to achieve.

I've used Iodine in saltwater to remove zoanthid eating nudibranchs , freshwater for flatworms, and ReVive for freshly cut frags.

I've used Melafix on a sps frag before with no problems. I've been doing a lot more reading about what can come on frags so I did a freshwater dip on my new sps frags. It looks like the dip worked...even on the corals. I may have lost one but the others, given time, look like they will come back. Most of the polpys are coming out again. Not fully extended, but at least I see them. Time will tell...

I have dipped all my SPS and LPS frags in one gallon of saltwater with the reccomended dosage of revive, flatworm exit, and interceptor. Seems to work well for me. I don't have soft corals.
