This is the second time I placed an order, the first was back in May. After the first week, some of the corals and snails, died off, I reported it, and nothing happened except apologies.
This order was for two brain corals, one green flower pot, and on long tentacle plate coral. The Lobophylia Brain coral didn't look right getting it out of the box, looked stressed out, pale color, I put it in the tank and within three days it started to come apart, The Plate coral died like overnight, same thing, came apart. My water parameters were all correct, not other coral, brain or otherwise in my tank were affected. I did find bristle worms in the corals, red tips w/white bodies.
The Favites brain coral just sits there, sort of frozen in time. It's never shown its alive by swelling or changing colors. Don't know....
The green flower pot coral was doing great, one morning this week, it had brown mucous on parts of it. I put it in a coral dip and killed off the culprits eating it alive, its back in the tank but half the polyps are gone.
I've contacted Kris Wray about this problem all week, nothing has been resolved other than its probably my fault.
Last May, it was probably "shame on me", this time I knew better and hoped for a favorable outcome but it looks like, "shame on you" this time.
If everyone that reads this post and is happy with their order by the first two weeks, count yourself lucky. If you loose a coral, even if it looks or smells bad, sorry, better luck next time....BTW I was also enthusiastic when I got my first order also....
