Disease ID Please

I have been reading trying to find what this is, but haven't had any luck. Is there anyone out there that can suggest a disease and cure?

The black growth just behind the fin. That was not there 1 week ago.

In my opinion, unless he is scratching, swimming abnormally, has white specs, excess mucus or anything else that characterises imminent danger, my advice is this: First do no harm.
Wait it out and see if it persists or gets worse. Keep the fish on close observation.
