Dispar Anthias with cut/injury to pectoral fin

I have a new Anthias dispar that has an injury to its left pectoral fin. I didn't notice the injury and was in the process of doing a Paraguard dip. Never saw a fish in distress but this was certainly the case. As soon as the anthias got in the dip it was darting around and jumping up to get out of the solution. I put it in the QT and then noticed the injury. The actual fin itself look uninjured. The damage is at the base of the fin, sort of like at a person's arm pit. Its red and inflamed, like there is a cut there. The fish will use the fin just a bit, the rest of the time, its just swimming around using all of its other fins. The fish itself is alert, active, and hungry. And is even harassing the other dispar in the tank (so has enough energy to try and act like the big fish).

So what type of treatment do people think is needed here? I dont think its infected but if its a cut, it will likely lead to that. So far I have added Seachem's Stress Guard since it says thats supposed to be an antiseptic and will help with fish cuts etc. I wanted to treat with API general cure since its a QT tank and i want to treat all the fish with something at the same time, but I dunno if thats appropriate for this one fish. Any help is appreciated.

So just an update, I added another dose of Seachem's Stress Guard today (1 full cap full), and the fish is acting a bit dazed now. Instead of freely swimming around, its more secluded and doesnt seem to interested in food. Its no longer using its left pectoral fin for movement, and I'm sure the fish is in pain. Would people recommend I start with some sort of antibiotic? Just to be safe that a secondary infection doesnt start up?

So I've taken some pics so you guys can see what I'm dealing with. The fish is looking more exhausted. I think Im going to go with the Furan-2 since its a catch all and I dont know if Im dealing with gram - or + bacteria.

The fish is really not eating anything probably bc its fin is bothering it so much.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Also note the stringy white poop in the above images. Only fish in the tank to be showing this, so likely some secondary issue bc the fish is so stressed.

So bad news, I added 1 packet of Furan-2 in the tank and in like 5 hours, the injured anthias was dead. I don't think it was the medication because I didnt overdose, and its an antibiotic. I probably just waited to long to treat.

So I still don't know what would have been a good treatment here. Again, it appeared to be a scratch that got irritated by Paraguard (even being in it for about a minute) and then maybe some sort of secondary infection.

Right now, I'm removing the antibiotic out of the water with some activated carbon in the HOB filter and I'm running my UV light again. That will help break down the active ingredients.
