Divers Den RBTA

I just recieved an RBTA from you guys this morning around 11. I must say that the packaging of the specimen was impeccable and maybe a little bit overkill, but not a bad thing.

The problem I have is when i received the nem, the water in the bag was 69 degrees or so. There were no heat packs in the cooler at all and there was supposed to be a cold front on the night before the delivery. The mouth on the nem is gaping and I am worried that it will not make it. I am still acclimating it due to the extreme amoutns of stress it has suffered on its trip.

Nowhere in the country is it warm enough to ship without hot packs right now except for Miami, FL. I dont know if this was an oversight on your part, but it is causing this beautiful animal to suffer.

Thanks

Mike

flasher1,

Thank you for your post and informing us about your order and concerns. We apologize that your anemone arrived in cooler water. We consult weather maps daily prior to shipping to determine which areas require heats packs. We are very sorry that we made an inaccurate determination for your location on your shipping day. If you would please PM us with your order number we would be happy to document your customer file. We truly appreciate your care in lengthening the acclimation process for your RBTA. Please do keep us posted, and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have further questions or require further assistance.
