Going to cozumel in two months. can anyone recomend dive sites and what condition are the reefs after last years huricane.

we went last july. Are you diving with a shop? We used Dive paradise. It was our first time, and only did one dive a day. Unfortunately we weren't able to do a lot of the "good dives" because they were farther by boat a little deeper and they reserve those for the am dives. Talking with the other divers we dove with Palancar reef is one of the best dives in the world. there's another forum scubaboard.com that can help you get alot more info.

I would recomend santa rosa wall, and planacar, dive paradise is great but you want to get the fast boats

I agree with the above recomendations. I really enjoy the wall dives there. Just drift and watch it all go by!

15 times I have been to Cozumel best operator I have used is www.divewithmartin.com . They also supply all gear free if you don't have all your own stuff.

Always fast boats, no more than 6 divers, very knowledgeable crew, let you pick dive sites and let you dive your computer.

Have fun. Reefs are in great shape and there are more turtles there now more than ever. For some really great info. please visit the scuba board forum here.

We dove in Cozumel in June. We took a slow boat and had a terrific time relaxing and visiting with our group. The dive operator supplied lunch of grilled fish, chips, guacamole...MMM. We did all the above mentioned dives and there was not a bad one listed. The reefs have faired remarkably well. Whoever you dive with have a fantastic time.
