Im going to build a recirculating protein skimmer (following the design of D&D APF600).
Materials i already have and intend to use:
8" dia. acrylic tube (1' length)
4" dia. acrylic tube (30" length)
Eheim 1250
My questions are:
1.) Is there a needlewheel that will fit the eheim 1250 pump?
2.) Should I use the 4" dia tube or 8" dia tube? (8" dia @ 1' length is kinda short but will have less tubolence)
3.) Can I use regular bulkheads for water input/output or is there a better way?
