DIY Fish food

After reading Dr. Lee’s article, I am moving away from the frozen adult brine I have been using. I’ll be using freeze-dried foods. I chopped up Mysis into small pieces and the fish seemed to eat it; although it floats so it does not get down to those that tend to stay lower in the tank. Do fish eat plankton? I have ReefRoids, which I use to feed corals. I added some and not so sure they ate it. I have decapsulated brine eggs coming. Are there brands of copepods that work better than others? I have not yet looked into pellets so that’s a possibility.

Some fish eat plankton but, I'm not sure if they eat Reef Roids. Like you, I've never noticed them eating them. I'll be honest and state I'm too lazy to make Dr. Lee's homemade food. I did make my own food years ago but I simply don't have the drive/time to make it myself anymore. I use a variety of commercially available frozen foods and pellet food (usually soaked in Vita-Chem).
