diy gate valve setup for euro reef.

Thank you Mouse, crab0000. Everytime I see the PVCs at the hardware store I can't buy the parts because I'm not really sure of the size. But now I know.

more help with gate valves??? , i have the euro reef es5-2 , i was add a gate valve to it, does it matter what the size of it is , i have a 1-1/2 on there and the bubbles are always foaming over the top of the cup, i've tried adjusting the height of the riser tube and dosent make too much difference, i like the original setup still, do i have to have a certain height for each tube??, do i have to have a smaller gate valve to 1-1/4, the 1 i have is really big, bigger then the 1 most of you have used,
what are some things i can do to make this work??

Make sure your Tee is low enough. The level of the tee will determine the lowest adjustment possible. Try cutting some of the pipes shorter so the tee is lower.
