Ok, this is the easiest DIY project in the history of aquarium!!! I took my reflector out of light (after removing guard, bulbs, etc.). Popped the old lunar lights out, measured equal distance between original lunar lights, drilled hole. Then put the blue led bulbs in and hot glued them down. Simply cut the original wiring into equal pieces and run black down one side/red down the other soldering as I went. Put it all back together and presto!!! Uses the original plug and looks stock. Below is a link to an ebay listing of the type of bulbs that I used, except I used blue:
BTW, you can order the lights all ready make up for you. But, I bought 100 led bulbs back several years ago and I think it was less than $10 including s/h. I made a light for a fresh water tank years ago and used about 12 bulbs, but that is too bright.
