Even when I run herbie OF I just have my emergency drain 2" above the syphon. Gmacs site is the only place I've seen a set 6". But how you set it ups up to you. Keep us posted on what you do and find out.
And I was referencing beans site because you had said a 1" drain could only handle 330gph.
